Ayurveda or Ayurvedic medicine is a system of traditional medicine native to India which is one of the oldest (approximately 6000 years old) scientific medical system. It uses a range of treatments, including panchakarma (‘five actions’), yoga, massage and herbal medicine, to encourage health and wellbeing.

Ayurveda is a truly holistic and integral medical system that treats human beings as a ‘whole’ which is a combination of body, mind and soul. It is a way of life that describes diet, behaviour and medicine that are beneficial or detrimental for your life or lifestyle.

Ayurveda is not only a system of medicine but is also a way of life.
